My first awareness of the DDB was like just about everyone else's, from the movie "Turner & Hooch". I was not interested! Too much spit and slobber. Then I went to Germany to deliver an Aussie. While there I was taken to the home of Cornelia Lieb, Meinendorfer Wald DDB, just outside of Hamburg. There I met Katie and fell in love with this wonderful breed. It is from Katie that we aquired our foundation bitch, CH Anna vom Meinendorfer Wald, TT, CGC.
We take great pride in our dogs and the individual care each one receives. Our puppies are born and raised in our home and are sold with written health guarantees. It is our goal to raise well socialized puppies who will fit comfortably into their new homes.
An ancient fighting dog, the Dogue de Bordeaux is gifted for guarding, which he assumes with vigilance and great courage but without aggressiveness. A good companion, very attached to his master and very affectionate. Calm, balanced with a high stimulus threshold.
